ProjectSymbols Lite is a FREE limited feature version of
our popular ProjectSymbols. The program and data include everything an
AutoCAD user will need to search for products, select them through the
Catalog View by part number, place blocks on the drawing and extract them
to a product listing (SIF file).
Current ProjectMatrix customers and manufacturers may provide this free
software and it’s CAD libraries to their external design firms and
customers.

ProjectSymbols provides an assembly of symbol libraries in 2D that
graphically represent items from furniture manufacturer catalogs. The
ProjectSymbols libraries are invaluable for the placement of "intelligent"
2D symbols in space planning and creating installation drawings and
takeoffs.
AutoCAD compatible the symbol libraries
utilize the many layers available in AutoCAD by dispersing the different
product types on an abundance of different creation layers. The separation
of product type and text on different layers permits you a greater degree
of flexibility in the drawing output. These libraries are approximately
updated on a quarterly basis.
The ProjectMatrix program PSPlace is the
integral CAD interface that allows easy placement of symbols. PSPlace
inserts a convenient pull down menu within AutoCAD. You can place symbols
by searching a parts catalog much like the format used in ProjectSpec.

Download
the ProjectSymbols\ProjectSymbols Lite PSPlace Installation.
- Using My Computer or Windows Explorer
browse to the folder where you downloaded the PSPlace installation
routine.
- Double click on the file and follow
the prompts.
- Launch AutoCAD
- Select from the pull down menus
PSPlace\Insert\By Catalog View. The 1st time doing this the system
will prompt you for your authorization code. Enter you authorization
code.
- Close AutoCAD
Installing 2D Manufacturer Specific Symbols
- Visit our
symbol download page to see what manufacturers are available.
- Download the manufactures symbols that
you want.
- Using My Computer or Windows Explorer
browse to the folder where you downloaded the manufacturers symbols
setup routines.
- Double click on each of the files you
downloaded and follow the prompts.
- Launch AutoCAD
- At a command prompt type MFG
and select the manufacture you want to work with.
Download the symbol updates as often as
you want.
