Q. When trying to register, I get an 'Error 97' message.
This is due to the User Account Controls (UACs) on Windows Vista and Windows 7. You will need to disable these controls
in order to bypass this error message and use the program. To do so, follow the appropriate instructions below:
For Windows Vista: Go to your Start menu and select "Control Panel". Then select "User Accounts". Select "User Accounts" one more time and then locate the link
that says "Turn User Account Controls On/Off". On the screen that appears, uncheck the check box and click ok. You will then be prompted to restart your computer. When it
boots back up you should be able to go straight into our software without any problems.
For Windows 7: Go to your Start menu and select "Control Panel". Then select "User Accounts". Locate the link that says "Change User Account Control Settings". On
the screen that appears, drag the slider bar all the way down to the bottom to "Never Notify". Click OK and then you will be prompted to restart your computer. When it boots
back up you should be able to go straight into our software without any problems.

Q. How do I load my PSPlace toolbars as AutoCAD 2009 ribbons?

2. Highlight PSPLACEMNU and click "unload".
3. In the "File Name" box type "addpspl" and click "Load".
4. PSPLACEMNU should appear in the Loaded Customization Groups box again. Once it does, click "Close".
5. You should now have a PSPlace and a ProjectTools menu listed at the top of your AutoCAD screen. When you
select either one, it will display the corresponding ribbon toolbars.

Q. Why did my PSPlace icons change?
With the change in toolbar appearance that comes with AutoCAD 2009, we wanted to create a fresh set of icons to integrate into this new "ribbon"
format that was introduced. The new icons will be integrated into AutoCAD versions 2007-2009. Versions 2004-2006 will still display the same icons
you are used to seeing for now.

Q. I get a message "Unknown Command" when trying to use ProjectSymbols.
If you try to use any of the functions on the ProjectSymbols toolbar or PSPlace/Utilities menu and you receive a message that says "Unknown Command" then you are missing the required path for the program.
To add this path, follow these steps:
1. Click on "Tools" in AutoCAD and then choose "Options". (For those of you that are using Architectural Desktop, go to "Format" and then "Options".)
2. Click on the "Files" tab and locate the section "Support File Search Paths". Expand this section by double clicking it or clicking the plus sign before it.
3. On the right side of this box click on "Add" and then click on "Browse".
If you are using AutoCAD version 2004-2006, follow number 4a. If you are using AutoCAD 2007-2009, follow number 4b. If you are using AutoCAD 2010, follow 4c.
4a. Browse to the following: C:\Program Files\ProjectMatrix\ProjectSymbols\R16
4b. Browse to the following: C:\Program Files\ProjectMatrix\ProjectSymbols\R17
4c. Browse to the following: C:\Program Files\ProjectMatrix\ProjectSymbols\R18
5. Click "Apply" and then "OK".
6. Close AutoCAD and then reopen AutoCAD. Everything should work properly now.

Q. When attempting a PSPlace function, I get a "CrossRef.dll" not found.
Please click HERE to download a
missing file. This should be unzipped into the C:\ProgramFiles\ProjectMatrix\ProjectSymbols\R17 folder. Let it overwrite the existing file.

Q. Some symbols won't convert to 3D.
There are two things that could cause this problem. First is that the 3D
symbol is missing, or the XREF file is missing the link. Second, you may just have to change some settings in your
PSPlace. For a simple 4 step process click HERE
to view a PDF to try.

Q. When I use
the plot commands with Haworth's new symbol format it does not work?
The problem is caused because there is an old layer file on your computer. You
need to search your entire C: drive for "haw.lyr". The correct "haw.lyr" should be found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ProjectMatrix.
DO NOT DELETE THIS FILE. If there are other occurrences of this file on your computer please delete them. If this does not correct your
problem do the following:
1. Launch AutoCAD
2. At a command prompt enter PSFINDFILE
3. Enter HAW.LYR and select enter
4. If HAW.LYR is found anywhere other than C:\Program Files\Common Files\ProjectMatrix delete that
occurrence and then repeat the PSFINDFILE until it is found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ProjectMatrix.

Q. My PSPlace menu is not displayed in Autocad.
Inside Autocad (depending on the version) you need to type 'menuload' on the command

or R16 if Autocad 2004. Select 'addpspl.mnc'. Then LOAD. Then go to menubar tab and insert the two pull-down menu's. This will
restore your pull downs.
