Q. When trying to register, I get an 'Error 97' message.
This is due to the User Account Controls (UACs) on Windows Vista and Windows 7. You will need to disable these controls
in order to bypass this error message and use the program. To do so, follow the appropriate instructions below:
For Windows Vista: Go to your Start menu and select "Control Panel". Then select "User Accounts". Select "User Accounts" one more time and then locate the link
that says "Turn User Account Controls On/Off". On the screen that appears, uncheck the check box and click ok. You will then be prompted to restart your computer. When it
boots back up you should be able to go straight into our software without any problems.
For Windows 7: Go to your Start menu and select "Control Panel". Then select "User Accounts". Locate the link that says "Change User Account Control Settings". On
the screen that appears, drag the slider bar all the way down to the bottom to "Never Notify". Click OK and then you will be prompted to restart your computer. When it boots
back up you should be able to go straight into our software without any problems.

Q. What is the letter I got with my invoice all about?
In order to secure our software, ProjectMatrix™ has added one further step to your
license codes. There is only one more step to entering your code that may take you a few extra minutes once a year. Other
than that you will be getting the same powerful industry software, uninterrupted!

Q. What kind of changes did you make?
There is now a User ID for your company site.
(What is a site?) Each location will
have their own ID.
Example: Acme Designs has an office in Los Angeles and an office in San Francisco.
Even though it is the same company the location is different and therefore will receive a unique User ID for each location.

Q. Why does each person have to enter their own information?
This information will help ProjectMatrix™ to generate a list of "valid" customers. We
will use this information to help with tech support so that we have current email and phone numbers.
ProjectMatrix™ keeps all information confidential and will not sell to third-party companies.

Q. The letter said that I can only use the code on 50 computers. What if I have more?
With this new registration system we had to choose a number to limit the code to. We
felt that this was a fair number for our average customers. If you happen to need more that 50 code slots, we will be happy to
issue you more at NO COST! Just let us know so we can adjust accordingly.

Q. Why is ProjectMatrix tracking the software so closely?
We want to be able to continue to grow, better our tech support, and give our users
more power. In order to continue to give our "valid" customers the great service and support, we need to focus on them and not
use valuable tech support time to answer questions for "invalid" users.

Q. What is the definition of a SITE and a SEAT license?
A SITE license allows for multiple computers at one physical location. This means
that Acme Designs located at: 123 Main Street Chicago, IL and 321 Elm Street Chicago, IL would be TWO physical locations and
would require two sites of ProjectMatrix software.
A SEAT license allows the use of one user on one computer. The user may install the software on a second computer as a
backup or travel computer, but cannot use both machines at one time. This is usually secured by a USB Key or other portable
security device.

Q. I sometimes work from home. Is this allowed with a site license?
If you work the majority of the time from a licensed location and tend to do some additional
work from another location (i.e. Home or clients office) you would still be covered under your license.
Our License agreement defines a Site License as one “Single Site” or location, and the user agrees to NOT use the software at more
than one physical site or location. ProjectMatrix may terminate this Agreement if the Customer fails to comply with any terms and
conditions of the Agreement. In the case of laptops and home computers we do allow exemptions.
